Robert is the owner of Simple Home Energy Solutions. You just don't run into this type of person much in this era - he is highly knowledgeable about his business and he is a hard, hard working person of integrity. Once he got going he sealed the house up; put R-60 insulation into the attic; drilled, packed and patched the exterior walls and insulated the crawl space, one of the most difficult spaces in which one could have to work. At the end of the job the house tests compared to those at the outset showed air infiltration was cut more than in half. Suddenly the inside temperatures are warmer, very uniform and richer while using half the amount of gas. A great bonus: we either don't or hardly hear the DIA air traffic that a recent rearrangement of flight paths had brought to us about a year ago. We feel we have done a service for ourselves and our community by taking action to reduce our carbon footprint. Xcel agrees as they are processing an insulation rebate for our taking this action. Finally, we look forward to a comfortable summer as the insulation works year round to allow you to manage the temperatures in your house.
