When designing a solar energy power system for a home we take a comprehensive whole house approach.  We review your energy bills and perform a detailed energy audit on your home to identify ways to reduce existing energy waste, consumption, and loss issues within the home.  We believe in responsible energy production so in order to achieve the maximum benefits of solar energy, a home must first be retro-fitted to not waste the energy produced.  After properly diagnosing a home and addressing energy misuse or waste, we sufficiently air seal and increase insulation levels where needed before installing our solar energy systems. 

 

An "oversized" PV system not only doesn't offer your home any additional power benefit, you add unnecessary weight to your roofing system and any overproduction goes back to Xcel Energy at pennies on the dollar...in a sense, your home becomes a cheap power plant for the grid and the energy produced is then used elsewhere at market rates.  We ensure that your system is sized appropriate to your needs and usage without overproducing much.  We are also proficient in energy storage systems, "grid tied" battery back-up, even tied into generators if needed or desired, knows as hybrid systems. A properly designed "hybrid" PV system will have sustainable batteries with little to no maintenance and lasting power.
